All you need to know for your trip to Lakeside Adventures

🏊 Swim Ability

All participants must be able to swim 25 metres unaided while wearing a buoyancy aid for safety reasons.
If you’re unsure about your swim ability, please contact us before booking.

⏰ Arriving for Your Session

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your session starts. This gives you time to check in, get changed, and attend the safety briefing. If you miss the briefing, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but you might miss part or all of your session. No refunds are available in this case.
Please note: Lakeside Adventures is based on a working farm. For your safety, access to any areas outside the Aqua Park and designated visitor spaces is strictly not permitted.

📝 Do I need to complete a waiver?

Yes, all participants must complete a waiver before arriving. This helps us ensure everyone’s safety and a smooth experience.
Please note: There is very limited mobile signal on site, so we strongly recommend completing your waiver in advance to avoid any delays.

👟 Do I need to wear a Wetsuit & what footwear do I wear?

Wetsuits are optional, but they’re great for keeping warm—especially on windy/cooler days. If you’d like one, you can hire it from reception on the day.
You can go barefoot or wear soft-soled water shoes—just keep in mind that the equipment can be slippery.
Aqua socks are available to buy on the day from our reception team.
Hard-bottomed shoes/beach shoes are not permitted on the Aqua Park equipment.

🎟️ Aqua Park Season Pass

Enjoy unlimited access with our season pass — valid for one visit every day we are open to the public throughout the full Aqua Park season.
Sessions must be pre-booked, are subject to availability, and passes are non-transferable.

👥 Group Bookings & Parties

Minimum group size is 8 participants to qualify for free wetsuit hire and group benefits.
No need to pre-book wetsuits — free wetsuit hire is arranged at reception on the day.
Discounts available: 5% off for groups of 10+ and 10% off for 15+ — choose your session & it’s applied automatically at checkout.
You can pre-order meal deals to make your visit hassle-free. Contact reception at Enquiries@LakesideAdventures.co.uk.
We offer private hire options with free wetsuit hire and flexible guest numbers.

🏕️ On-Site Facilities

While we don’t have showers, we do provide toilets, designated changing areas, and hand-washing stations to freshen up after your session.
Feeling peckish? Our on-site café offers a tasty selection of snacks, drinks, and ice creams to keep you fuelled and refreshed.
👉 Please remember to wash your hands before eating or drinking.
🚗 Free parking is available on site. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any lost or damaged property.

🍴 Food & Drink

On-site café – Enjoy a great selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes, smoothies, snacks, and ice creams.
Meal deals – Tasty toasties, sandwiches and rolls, all served with crisps and salad
No alcohol before your session – If we suspect you’ve been drinking, you won’t be allowed to take part and no refund will be issued.
Bring your own food – You’re welcome to picnic on site, but please remember no alcohol is allowed anywhere on the premises.
Keep it clean – Please use the bins provided to help us keep the site tidy for everyone.

🎒 What to Bring

Swimwear – A swimming costume or trunks is perfect. (Sorry, no mankinis allowed!)
Towel or dry robe – You’ll want something cosy to warm up in after your session.
Footwear – Soft-soled water socks are ideal (you can buy them at reception), or go barefoot—but be aware, the equipment can get slippery.
Please note: Hard-soled shoes/beach shoes are not allowed on the inflatables.
Padlock – We provide free lockers, just bring a combination padlock (or you can buy one at reception).
Wetsuit (optional) – Not required, but highly recommended on cooler days. Available to hire from reception.

🚫 What not to Bring

Remove all jewellery before your session and cover new piercings.
No beach shoes are allowed on the equipment.
Remove glasses before entering the Aqua Park.
Goggles may only be worn with prior approval from management — please contact reception before your session starts.
No BBQs are allowed anywhere on site.
No alcohol to be consumed before your session or anywhere on the premises.
Padlocks with keys are not permitted on the inflatable equipment — please use combination padlocks instead.

.👀 Spectator Information

Spectators are free to attend and are asked to stay within the designated viewing areas.
Please remember, Lakeside Adventures is a working farm, so access is restricted to visitor areas only.
Seating is available for your comfort while you watch.

🔒 Lockers

Free lockers for valuables are available on site — just bring your own combination padlock or purchase one from reception.
Lakeside Adventures Ltd accept no responsibility for possessions left in lockers or anywhere on the site.
Combination padlocks can be purchased at reception if needed.
Please do not bring padlocks with keys, as keys cannot be taken onto the inflatables.

📸 Cameras

Waterproof and POV cameras are allowed on the equipment.
Use them at your own risk — Lakeside Adventures cannot accept responsibility for any lost or damaged devices.
Don’t forget to tag us in your awesome videos!

📷 Photography Whilst On Site

We’ll be taking photos and videos during your visit to capture all the fun! These images may be used for marketing, on our website, or social media.
If you prefer not to have your image used by us, please let us know when you book.
Please be aware that other visitors may take and share photos or videos on social media — as this is a public venue, we cannot take responsibility for images shared by others.

💸 Refunds & Changes

More than 14 days before your booking: You can change or cancel your booking for a full refund using the “Manage Booking” button in your confirmation email.
Between 7 and 14 days before your booking: You can change the date or attendees at no extra cost, but refunds are not available.
Within 7 days of your booking: No changes or refunds can be made.
To make any changes, please email us at Enquiries@LakesideAdventures.co.uk with your lead contact details and booking reference number.

🌧️ Bad Weather

Rain: Sessions go ahead as usual — it’s all part of the fun, and you’ll get wet anyway!
Lightning: If there’s lightning, we’ll pause sessions until it’s safe to continue. Later sessions may be delayed as a result.
High winds: If it’s too windy to run the session safely, we’ll contact you beforehand to rearrange your booking.

💧 Water Quality

We regularly test our water throughout the season to ensure it meets the highest standards. Our water quality is consistently graded as Excellent for your safety and peace of mind.

🌊 Open Water Swimming Passes

Tickets available individually, as a block of 10, or as a monthly unlimited pass — each pass is valid for one visit per open day.
Passes are non-transferable and subject to availability.

🐾 Dogs & Assistance Dogs

Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
Dogs are not allowed in the lake for their safety and ours.
Please do not leave dogs unattended in vehicles.
Help us keep the site clean by cleaning up after your dog and disposing of waste in the bins provided.
